Dr Guillemin, the handball star!

Congratulations to Gilles Guillemin, known to The Deb Bailey Foundation as a renowned researcher into the causes of MND, but who is also an outstanding European handball player at the international level. Gilles is part of the Sydney University Handball Club team which won the Oceanic Club Championship in Tahiti in November.

The team now goes on to represent the Oceania Region in the Super Globe Championship to be held in Qatar in August 2012. Gilles has been player, captain and coach of several elite handball teams, has represented NSW and Australia, and has travelled the world to play the sport.
